# A safe and smooth rental process

Here you will find what needs to be in place before you collect the car, and what applies when you return it.

Before the rental

## What needs to be in place

To make sure the rental runs safely and smoothly, we ask you to complete the following before the car is handed over:

### Payment

The rental fee and deposit must be paid at the time of booking.

### Contract

The rental agreement is signed digitally or in person before handover.

### Driving licence

A valid driving licence must be presented when collecting the car.

### Inspection

We inspect the car together – photos are taken as documentation.

After the rental

## What to do when returning the car

To wrap up the rental neatly, we ask for the following when the car is returned:

### Clean car

The car is returned freshly washed, inside and out.

### Full tank

The fuel tank must be full on return.

### Deposit

The deposit is refunded within one week of return.

### Additional charges

Tolls, parking and fines are deducted from the deposit.

Standard insurance

## Peace of mind when you rent

Standard insurance is included with every rental, giving you extra security throughout the rental period. It covers:

### Damage to the car

In the event of an accident, collision or vandalism.

### Theft

Theft of the car or attempted theft.

### Fire and natural damage

Lightning, flooding and storms.

### Liability insurance

Covers injury to people and damage to property.

### Legal assistance

Covers legal disputes arising from the rental.

### Excess

The excess is NOK 40,000 per incident, as set out in the rental agreement.

The insurance applies from pick-up to return and gives you, as the renter, complete peace of mind – so you can enjoy the drive without worrying.
